Salisbury Plugins License Transfer Policy

Introduction

Salisbury Plugins (“we,” “us,” or “our”) allows the transfer of ownership of product licenses for our VST and AU plugins (“Software”) under specific conditions outlined in this policy. This License Transfer Policy (“Policy”) governs the process for transferring a validly purchased license from one registered user to another.

Eligibility for License Transfer

Registered Users: Only registered users with an active account on the Salisbury Plugins website are eligible to transfer licenses.
Fully Paid Licenses: Only licenses that have been fully paid for and are not part of a trial, NFR (Not-for-Resale), or beta program are eligible for transfer.
Single License Transfers: Only single licenses can be transferred. Partial licenses or authorizations are not eligible for transfer.

License Transfer Process

Initiation: The original license holder (“Transferor”) must initiate the transfer process through the designated License Transfer Request page on the Salisbury Plugins website.
Payment: The Transferor is responsible for paying a non-refundable administrative fee of USD $6.99 to cover the processing of the license transfer. Payment methods and security measures are detailed on the License Transfer Request page.
Information Submission: The Transferor must provide accurate and complete information, including their details, the product information (name and serial number), and the new license holder’s (“Transferee’s”) details, including their registered account email address.
Declaration and Agreement: The Transferor must declare that they are the rightful owner of the license, have removed the Software from their devices and rendered it unusable, have informed the Transferee of the terms of the Salisbury Plugins End-User License Agreement (EULA), and understand the terms of this Policy.
Review and Approval: Salisbury Plugins reserves the right to review and approve or deny any license transfer request at its sole discretion.
Processing Time: License transfer requests are typically processed within 3 business days, but may take longer in certain circumstances.
Transfer Completion: Upon successful completion of the transfer, the Transferee will be notified and granted access to the license. The Transferor will no longer have access to the license or the Software.

Responsibilities of the Transferor

Removal of Software: The Transferor must remove all copies of the Software from their devices and render them unusable before initiating the transfer.
Information Accuracy: The Transferor is responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the transfer process.
Notification to Transferee: The Transferor must inform the Transferee of the terms of the Salisbury Plugins EULA and this Policy.

Responsibilities of the Transferee

Acceptance of EULA: The Transferee must agree to be bound by the terms of the Salisbury Plugins EULA.
Registration of Product: The Transferee is responsible for registering the product to their account on the Salisbury Plugins website.

General Terms

Non-Refundable Fee: The administrative fee for license transfer is non-refundable, even if the transfer request is denied.
False Declarations: Making false declarations during the transfer process may result in account suspension or other penalties.
Right of Refusal: Salisbury Plugins reserves the right to refuse any license transfer request for any reason.
Compliance with Laws: All parties involved in the license transfer must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Note: The transfer of a license does not grant the right to distribute the installer for the Software. Distribution of the installer remains restricted as outlined in the End-User License Agreement.
